TreewalkRFC 9989

Terms of service

Last updated 21 August 2026.

What this service does

Treewalk reads publicly published DNS records for a domain you specify and reports an analysis of its email authentication configuration.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Email deliverability depends on many factors outside DNS. A passing Treewalk result does not guarantee delivery, and a failing one does not guarantee rejection. Do not use this service as your only check before a send that matters.

Acceptable use

• Query only domains you are authorised to assess.
• Do not attempt to exceed the published rate limits by evasion.
• Do not use the service to plan or support unsolicited bulk email.

Availability

This is an early service with no uptime guarantee. It may change or stop. Paid bulk access is sold through Apify, and Apify's terms govern billing and refunds for it.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service — which, on the free tier, is nothing.

How this service is run

See About. Nothing there limits any obligation above.
